The Series:
This will be the third meeting between Converse and Francis Marion. The Patriots won both matchups a season ago, including a 72-68 win over the Valkyries inside the Weisiger Center. Last time these two teams met in Spartanburg, Earl Burgess III had a team high 18-points, 11-rebounds, Jay Mitchell added 16-points and Sigurd Lorange had a 14-point, 10-assist outing.   
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 5-5 overall and 3-1 in Conference Carolinas action this season. The Valkyries have won a school record four straight games and they are coming off an 86-79 win over Livingstone on Monday night.   
• A trio of Valkyries ended the night in double-figures, Uzziah Dawkins (21-points), Bosko Bojovic (16-points) and Jordan Warlick (12-points). Earl Burgess III led the team with 10-rebounds in the win over the Blue Bears.
• On Monday night, Warlick also eclipsed the 1,000-career point mark with his first basket of the night. The sixth-year senior also broke the 500-career rebound mark earlier in the season.
• Converse is averaging 72.7 points per game this season and is shooting .479 from the field. The Valkyries are also shooting .369 from beyond the arch and .680 from the free throw line.
• The Valkyries are averaging 33.1 rebounds per game, 14.6 assists per game, 4.6 steals per game and 1.9 blocks per game.
• Uzziah Dawkins leads the team with 12.9 points per game, while Sigurd Lorange is second on the team with 11.1 points per game and Bojovic is third on the team with 10.4 points per game.
• Bosko Bojovic leads the team in offensive rebounds (24), defensive rebounds (40), total rebounds (64) and rebounds per game (8.0). Dawkins leads the team with 32 assists and 7 blocks.

• Francis Marion is 5-3 overall and 3-0 in Conference Carolinas games this season. The Patriots have won two straight including a win over No. 8 UNC Pembroke.
• Most recently, Francis Marion is coming off an 86-80 overtime win against Belmont Abbey. Four different Patriots scored in double-figures on Saturday, Alex Cox (31-points), Tionne Rollins (16-points), Bryce Beamer (14-points) and Jonah Pierce (10-points).
• Francis Marion is averaging 77.8 points per game this season, shooting .456 from the field, .318 from three-point range and .676 from the free throw line.
• The Patriots are averaging 35.5 rebounds per game, 16.5 assists per game, 9.5 steals per game and 2.8 blocks per game.
