Series History:
This will be the 20
th all-time meeting between Converse and Lees-McRae dating back to the 2010 season. The Bobcats are 15-4 against the Valkyries over that time frame, but the two squads split the season series this season. This will be the first time the two teams have met in the first round of the Conference Carolinas tournament. With a win the Valkyries will face the three-seed King University in the second match of the day. A win on Saturday would give the Valkyries their first ever postseason win in the NCAA era.
Converse Notes:

- Lees-McRae is 7-22 overall and 6-12 in Conference Carolinas action. The Bobcats are 0-6 in neutral site matches this season.
- The Bobcats are currently on a three-match losing streak and they are coming off a 3-0 sweep against Emmanuel on Tuesday evening.
- As a team, Lees-McRae is averaging 10.6 kills per set, 10.0 assists per set, 1.4 services aces per set, 13.5 digs per set and 1.5 blocks per set.
