The Series:
This will be the third meeting between Converse and Belmont Abbey, the Crusaders are 2-0 all-time against the Valkyries. Last season, the Valkyries lost 102-73 inside the Wheeler Center with Sigurd Lorange leading the team with 23-points in the loss.
 
 
Converse Notes:
  • Converse is 1-3 overall this season and is coming off an 85-62 home win over Allen on Saturday afternoon.
  • Lorange led the team with 17-points, while Aaron Porcil finished second on the team with 11-points.
  • The Valkyries are averaging 69.8 points per game, shooting 45 percent from the field, 32 percent from three-point range and 66 percent from the free throw line.
  • Converse is also averaging 34.8 rebounds per game, 14.0 assists per game, 4.5 steals per game and 3.0 blocks per game.
  • Uzziah Dawkins leads the team in scoring with 14.8 points per game, Lorange is second on the team with 10.5 points per game and Jay Mitchell is third on the team with 9.3 points per game.

Belmont Abbey Notes:
  • Belmont Abbey is 0-4 this season and is coming off an 81-78 road loss to Anderson on Saturday afternoon. Tuesday night's game will be the Crusaders first home game of the season.
  • Last time out, all five starters reached double figures for the Crusaders; Charles Solomon (17pts), Wade Jackson (14pts), Mario Lacey Jr. (13pts), Mason Taylor (11pts), KJ Garrett (10pts).
  • The Crusaders are averaging 77.5 points per game this season, they are shooting 51 percent from the field, 37 percent from three-point range and 47 percent from the free throw line.
  • Belmont Abbey is averaging 32.0 rebounds per game, 13.3 assists per game, 9.0 steals per game and 3.0 blocks per game.
