The Series:
Converse will be looking to complete their first ever season sweep of an opponent on Tuesday evening in Tigerville, S.C. On December 4, 2021 the Valkyries and the Crusaders played a thrilling overtime game inside the Weisiger Center. Converse pulled out a 71-70 victory in front of the home crowd, as freshman forward Elijah Pitts posted his first career double-double (24 pts, 13 rebs). Jimmie Sanders III and Earl Burgess III both contributed 14-points and Jordan Warlick added 12 points in the win.   
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 5-11 overall and 4-8 in Conference Carolinas action this season.
• The Valkyries are coming off a 72-68 loss to Francis Marion on Saturday afternoon. Burgess III led the team with his second career double-double with an 18-point, 11-rebounds performance. Sigurd Lorange also posted his first career double-double in Saturday's loss with a 14-point and 10-assist effort against the Patriots.
• The Valkyries are averaging 68.6 points per game and they are shooting 39 percent from the field. Converse is shooting 28 percent from beyond the arch and 76 percent from the free throw line.
• Converse is averaging 33.5 rebounds per game, 14.2 assists per game, 6.5 steals per game and 3.9 blocks per game.
• Lorange leads the team with 15.6 points per game and is second on the team with 57 assists and 23 steals. Jimmie Sanders III is second on the team in points per game with 12.3, but leads the team with 61 assists.
• Pitts is third on the team in points per game with 9.3 and leads the team in total rebounds with 105. Earl Burgess III leads the team with 32 total blocks this season.

 
North Greenville Notes:

• North Greenville is 4-9 overall and 2-8 in Conference Carolinas play this season.
• The Crusaders are 2-4 in home games this season and have lost four straight games. North Greenville is coming off a 92-61 loss to UNC Pembroke on Saturday afternoon. Jacob Redding led the Crusaders with 20-points, while Zak Perdew scored 10-points off the bench.
• North Greenville is averaging 75.2 points per game this season and they are shooting 41 percent from the field. The Crusaders are shooting 34 percent from three-point range and 71 percent from the free throw line.
• The Crusaders are averaging 33.7 rebounds per game, 13.9 assists per game, 7.3 steals per game and 3.6 blocks per game.
• Four players are averaging in double figures for the Crusaders this season, Jacob Redding (14.7 ppg), Draylan Burton (13.4 ppg), Kameron Hobbs (12.8 ppg) and Joe Conley (12.4 ppg).
• Hobbs currently leads the team with 32 assists and 24 steals this season, while Conley leads the team with 87 rebounds and 20 blocks.
