The Series:
This will be just the second meeting between Converse and UNC Pembroke. The Braves have a 1-0 record against the Valkyries. The first game between these two teams was on December 15, 2021 when UNC Pembroke defeated Converse 76-40.
 
This will be the fourth meeting between Converse and Francis Marion but only the first conference matchup. The Patriots have a 3-0 record lead against the Valkyries. In the last matchup between the two teams in 2016, Francis Marion out edged Converse 65-45.
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is coming off a 13-day break after games were postponed due to Covid-19. In their last game, the Valkyries lost to Barton College by a score of 60-47.
