The Series:
This will be the second ever meeting between Converse and Mars Hill. The Lions got the better of the Valkyries the last time these two teams met on the hardwood with a 3-0 win. This will be the first time the Valkyries have made the short trek up to Mars Hill, N.C. to face the Lions.
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is still seeking their first win of the season after playing in a pair of difficult tournaments at USC Aiken the past two weekends.
• Converse is averaging 9.0 kills per set, 8.5 assists per set, 14.5 digs per set and 1.3 blocks per set this season.
• Kiara Cannon leads the team with 62 total kills this season and is averaging 2.32 kills per set.
• Anna Rabon is having a strong freshman season with a team best 70.5 total points this season. The freshman has already registered three double-doubles this season and is second on the team in total kills (57) and total digs (70).
• Freshman Madison Gregory currently leads the team with 147 assists and is averaging 4.90 assists per set. Gregory has recorded a trio of double-double this season.
• Elizabeth Yohe leads the team with 138 total digs and is averaging 4.60 digs per set. Jasmine Finkley leads the team with 16 total blocks this season.  

Mars Hill Notes:

• The Lions are 7-1 this season and have swept every opponent in wins this season. The Lions have won 18 straight sets dating back to September 4^th.
• This past weekend the Lions traveled to King University and defeated Young Harris, King, Lees-McRae and Emory & Henry.
• Mars Hill is averaging 13.42 kills per set, 12.46 assists per set, 19.92 digs per set and just under 2.0 blocks per set.
• Sarah Goddard has emerged as the Lions go to player with 91 total kills and is hitting a team best .301 this season. Goddard also leads the team in total points 104.5, points per set 4.4 and kills per set 3.79.
• Grace Lilly is second on the team with 84 kills and is averaging 3.54 digs per set and 3.50 kills per set.
• Jordan Schmucker has registered 221 total assists and is averaging 9.61 assists per set. Schumcker is second on the team in total digs with 93 on the season.
• Ully Martins leads the team 130 total digs and Nikkayla Stewart leads the team with 25 total blocks on the year.
