BELMONT, N.C. -- Brittany Tepedino, senior outside hitter, posted a double double in a four-set loss (16-25, 17-25, 25-23, 20-25) to Belmont Abbey in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action Friday night. The Valkyries fell to 0-2 overall and 0-2 in league play.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Tepedino had 17 kills and 15 digs. She also served two of the Valkyries' six aces.
• Senior outside hitter, Kiara Cannon tallied 10 kills and two block assists.
• Junior setter, Savannah Ducote had 34 assists.
• Junior libero, Elizabeth Yohe led the team with 21 digs. 
• Sophomore Sara Grace Westmoreland tallied 10 digs.
