Belmont, NC- Belmont Abbey got off to a hot start in an unfortunately tough night for the Valkyrie Lacrosse team. Belmont Abbey came in winners of 9 in a row and averaging 23.5 goals per game over their last 4 games. Madalynn Brunner would make 12 saves on 38 shots on target. The Valkyries will look to put this contest behind them as they look ahead to their next contest. They will travel to Hartsville, South Carolina to take on Coker in a mid-week tilt which is slated to begin at 3:00 PM.
