Spartanburg, S.C. - On their way to a 3-1 victory over Barton College, the Converse Women's Volleyball team broke several school records and saw the team record a .255 hitting percentage, 10 service aces, and 78 digs. This was the Valkyries' third consecutive win over the Bulldogs.

How it Happened
- Senior outside hitter, Brittany Tepedino, recorded her third consecutive double-double with 14 kills and a season high 22 digs, as well as three service aces.
- Savannah Ducote, collected 53 assists, a new season high for the junior setter.
- Senior outside hitter, Kiara Cannon, recorded a season high 14 kills on her way to a .211 hitting percentage.
- Sophomore middle hitter, Jasmine Finkley, had a .538 hitting percentage with 16 kills out of 26 total attacks. She also recorded four solo blocks. Her 16 kills is a new season high.
- Junior libero Elizabeth Yohe, sophomore defensive specialist Sara Grace Westmoreland, and freshman defensive specialist Mackenzie Day recorded a season high with 22, 13 and 10 digs respectively.
Record Books
- Cannon broke the school record in career block assists which had been in place since 2010. She currently sits in first place with 180 block assists.
- Ducote is now first in the records books after recording 53 assists in the four-set match.
- Finkley earned 20 points, the third best in program history.
- As a team, this season's Valkyries are now first in kills, assists, block assists and total points in a four-set-match.
