CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Just one week after competing in one of the best games in school history, the Converse College field hockey team took on Queens University of Charlotte this afternoon at Bessant Field. It was no surprise to see the Valkyries come out strong once again. Unfortunately, the outcome would not be in their favor.

How it Happened
- Queens scored first in the sixth minute of play, and the Royals' second goal came in the 21st minute.
- The Royals recorded 17 shots to the Valkyries' three shots.
- Three different Valkyries attempted one shot each - Madison Yocklin, Elizabeth Wypych and Morgan Berndt.
- Wypych and Berndt also had a shot on goal.
- Playing all 60-minutes in goal, senior Ciriaca Petitto collected seven saves.
