The Series:
This is will be the first all-time meeting between Converse University and UNC Pembroke in program history.
 
Converse Notes:

• The Valkyries are 3-6 this season and 2-4 in Conference Carolinas play this season.
• Converse is coming off a 57-54 loss to Lees-McRae on Saturday afternoon. Sydney Wilson led the Valkyries with a 22-point effort and Lindsey Harding added 10-points in the loss.  
• Converse is averaging 60.2 points per game and they are shooting .403 from the field this season. From beyond the arch the Valkyries are shooting 34 percent and from the free throw line the Valkyries are shooting just under 63 percent.
• The Valkyries are averaging 36.0 rebounds per game and 14.6 assists per contest. Converse is also averaging 7.0 steals per game and 1.4 blocks per game.
• Converse has three players that are averaging double-figures this season, Sydney Wilson (14.6 ppg), Hardin (11.6 ppg) and Keysuna Fair (10.4 ppg). Wilson leads the team with 62 total rebounds and is averaging just under 7.0 rebounds per game.
• Eva Carballo leads the team with 40 assists and 15 steals, while Amaia Parkins has a team best six blocks on the season.

 
UNC Pembroke Notes:

• The Braves are 6-3 overall and 4-1 in Conference Carolinas action this season.
• UNC Pembroke is coming off a 63-40 win over Saint Augustine's on Sunday afternoon. Courtney Smith led the Braves with 11-points, while Tiara Williams and Gabby Smith each recorded 9-points in the win.
• The Braves are averaging 63.3 points per game this season and they are shooting .385 from the field this season. From beyond the arch the Braves are shooting 31 percent and 74 percent from the free throw line.
• UNC Pembroke is averaging 38.0 rebounds per game, 13.9 assists per game, 8.8 steals per game and 1.6 blocks per game.
• Smith leads the team in both points per game (13.1) and rebounds per game (5.4). Alcenia Purnell is second on the team in points per game (9.2) but leads the team in total assists (27), steals (15) and blocks (4).
