The Series:
This will be the 22^nd meeting since the 2010 season between Converse and Erskine. The Flying Fleet hold a 17-4 overall series lead against the Valkyries over that time span and held a seven-game winning streak at one point. Erskine has not traveled to Spartanburg since the 2019 season when they escaped with a five-set victory over the Valkyries. Earlier this season the Valkyries fell 3-1 to the Flying Fleet.  
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is looking to end a four-match losing streak in Conference Carolinas play.
• The Valkyries went 0-2 this past weekend against Barton and Chowan at the Weisiger Center. 
• As a team the Valkyries are averaging 9.7 kills per set and 9.0 assists per set. Converse is also averaging 16.1 digs and 1.6 blocks per set this season.
• Kiara Cannon leads the team with 205 kills, Anna Rabon is second with 201 kills and Jasmine Finkley is third with 173 kills. Rabon now leads the team in service aces (34) and is second on the team in digs (233). Finkley leads the team with 66 total blocks and Cannon is second on the team 56 total blocks.
• Savannah Ducote leads the team with 430 assists and Madison Gregory is second with 303 assists. Elizabeth Yohe leads the team with 501 digs.

 
Erskine Notes:

• Erskine is 11-19 overall and 7-10 in Conference Carolinas action this season.
• The Flying Fleet went 0-1 last week with a loss to Mount Olive on Friday night.
• Erskine is averaging 11.1 kills per set and 10.2 assists per set this season. The Flying Fleet are averaging 17.2 digs per set and 1.6 blocks per set.
• Meredith Hollinger leads the team with 382 kills, Katy Torgerson is second on the team with 295 kills and Kaile Tuisamatatele is third on the team with 250 kills.
• Laney Gaston leads the team with 580 assists, while Mallory Carter is second with 423 assists this season. Carter leads the team with 29 service aces on the year.
• Megan Thees leads the team with 278 digs and Torgerson has recorded 104 total blocks.
