The Series:
This will be the 16^th meeting between Converse University and Barton dating back to the 2010 season. The Bulldogs hold an 11-4 advantage in the all-time series, but Converse has won the last three matchups against Barton. Last season the Valkyries defeated the Bulldogs 3-1 in front of their home crowd at the Weisiger Center.
 
This will be the eighth meeting between Converse and Chowan dating back to the 2011 campaign. The Valkyries hold a 5-2 overall record against Chowan and they have won the last three meetings dating back to the 2019 season.
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is looking to end a two-match losing streak in Conference Carolinas play.
• The Valkyries went 1-2 last week with a win over Southern Wesleyan and a pair of losses to Emmanuel on Saturday and Tuesday.
• As a team the Valkyries are averaging 9.6 kills per set and 8.9 assists per set. Converse is also averaging 15.9 digs and 1.6 blocks per set this season.
• Kiara Cannon leads the team with 190 kills on the season, Anna Rabon is second with 187 kills and Jasmine Finkley is third on the team with 164 kills. Barton Notes:

• The Bulldogs are 7-13 overall and 4-10 in Conference Carolinas action this season.
• Barton is just 1-6 on the road this season and they have lost five straight matches dating back to October 16^th.
• Last time out the Bulldogs lost to Chowan 3-2, Lily Haaga led the Bulldogs with 18 kills on the night, while Sarah Kirk recorded 47 assists and Brooke Clute added 29 digs.
