This is the first ever meeting between the Converse and Erskine men's basketball programs. The Valkyries are coming off their first ever conference win over King on Saturday afternoon, while the Flying Fleet are still looking for their first win of the season.
Converse Notes:
- The Valkyries are 2-1 overall and 1-0 in Conference Carolinas action this season.
- This past Saturday the Valkyries recorded their first ever comeback win over King with a 77-73 victory over the Tornado.
- Earl Burgess III became the first Valkyrie in program history to record a double-double with a 12-point, 10-rebound effort against the Tornado. Burgess also registered a team best five blocks in the win on Saturday.
- Jordan Warlick led the Valkyries with 19-points in the match, while Jimmie Sanders III finished with 16-points in the win for Converse.
- This season the Valkyries are averaging 77.7 points per game and they are shooting 42 percent from the field. Converse is shooting 25 percent from three-point range and 79 percent from the free throw line.
- Converse is averaging 38.7 rebounds per game, 14.3 assists per game, 7.0 steals per contest and 6.3 blocks per game.

- Erskine is coming off a 110-73 loss to UNC Pembroke on Saturday afternoon. Austin Medlin came off the bench to lead the Flying Fleet in scoring with 18-points against the Braves.
- The Flying Fleet are averaging 70.5 points per game this season and they are shooting 41 percent from the field. Erskine is also shooting 28 percent from three-point range and 66 percent from the free throw line.
- Erskine is averaging 34.3 rebounds per game, 12.3 assists per game, 7.0 steals per game and 2.9 blocks per contest.
