The Series:
This is the 21^st meeting between Converse University and King dating back to the 2011-2012 basketball season. King holds an 18-2 overall record in the series and they won the last meeting 86-58 in Spartanburg. The Valkyries last home win against the Tornado came on February 6, 2012 when Converse edged out King 60-59.
