The Series:
Since the 2012 season, Converse University is 0-14 against Emmanuel College. The Valkyries and the Lions are facing off for the second time in four days. Emmanuel came away with a 3-1 win in Spartanburg on Saturday afternoon.
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is looking to end an eight-match losing streak in Conference Carolinas play.
• The Valkyries went 1-1 this past week with a win over Southern Wesleyan on Thursday night and a loss to Emmanuel on Saturday afternoon.   
• As a team the Valkyries are averaging 9.6 kills per set and 8.9 assists per set. Converse is also averaging 16.0 digs and 1.6 blocks per set this season.
• Kiara Cannon leads the team with 183 kills, Anna Rabon is second with 180 kills and Jasmine Finkley is third with 156 kills. Rabon now leads the team in service aces (32) and is second on the team in digs (214). Finkley leads the team with 61 total blocks and Cannon is second on the team 51 total blocks.
• Savannah Ducote leads the team with 344 assists and Madison Gregory is second with 303 assists. Elizabeth Yohe leads the team with 440 digs.

Emmanuel Notes:

• Emmanuel is 14-12 overall and 11-4 in Conference Carolinas play this season.
• The Lions went 3-0 this past week with wins over North Greenville, Lees-McRae and Converse.
• Emmanuel is averaging 11.9 kills per set, 11.0 assists per set, 16.4 digs per set and 1.8 blocks per set.
• Aleksandra Hamuda leads the team with 278 kills this season, Alaina Emminger is second on the team with 193 kills and Taylor Roberts is third on the team with 183 kills on the season.
• Gabrielle McGlamery leads the team with 692 assists, Kaitlyn Henderson has 47 service aces, Victoria Alexander leads the team with 351 digs and Taylor Roberts leads the team with 86 total blocks.
