The Series:
This will be the fifth meeting between Converse and Francis Marion dating back to the 2010 season. The Patriots are 5-0 against the Valkyries and they are 4-0 in games played inside the Smith University Center. Converse and Francis Marion have not played since September of 2019, when the Patriots swept the Valkyries at the USC Aiken invitational.
 
Converse and Erskine will be meeting for the 21^st time on Saturday afternoon at Belk Arena. The Flying Fleet hold a 16-4 advantage over the Valkyries dating back to the 2010 season. Converse is just 1-9 in games played at Belk Arena, but the Valkyries are coming off a three-set sweep of the Flying Fleet from a season ago.
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is looking for their third consecutive win and their fourth win in five games this weekend.
• The Valkyries went 2-0 last weekend with wins over Southern Wesleyan and Mount Olive.
• The Valkyries win over Southern Wesleyan marked their first road win of the season. Last week's win over the Trojans of Mount Olive kept the Valkyries perfect at home this season.
• As a team the Valkyries are averaging 9.8 kills per set and 9.1 assists per set. Converse is also averaging 15.9 digs and 1.7 blocks per set this season.
• Kiara Cannon leads the team with 119 kills this season, while Anna Rabon is second on the team in kills with 111. Rabon is also second on the team in service aces (17) and digs (131).
• Savannah Ducote leads the team with 201 assists, while Elizabeth Yohe leads the team with 20 service aces and 252 digs. Jasmine Finkley leads the team with 39.0 blocks this season.

• The Patriots are 10-8 overall and 6-0 in Conference Carolinas action.
• Francis Marion has won six straight matches dating back to September 22^nd.
• Last weekend the Patriots went on the road and defeated Erskine and Emmanuel College (Ga.).
• The Patriots are averaging 12.1 kills per set, 11.3 assists per set, 17.6 digs per set and 1.5 blocks per set.

• Erskine is 5-13 overall and 2-4 in Conference Carolina play this season.
• Following a pair of losses to Francis Marion and UNC Pembroke last week, the Flying Fleet rebounded with a 3-1 win over Southern Wesleyan on Tuesday evening.
• The Flying Fleet are averaging 10.6 kills per set, 9.7 assists per set, 16.4 digs per set and 1.4 blocks per set.
• Meredith Hollinger leads the team with 198 kills this season, while Mallory Carter leads the team in assists (354), service aces (21) and digs (195). Katy Torgerson leads the team with 48 blocks this season.
