The Series:
This will be the 15^th all-time meeting between Converse University and Southern Wesleyan dating back to the 2011 season. The Warriors hold an 11-3 advantage in the overall series but have lost the last three matchups to the Valkyries. Earlier this season, Converse defeated Southern Wesleyan in straight sets (25-10, 25-8, 25-18). As a team the Valkyries hit .344 against Southern Wesleyan, Jasmine Finkley led the team with 13 kills, Savannah Ducote recorded 34 assists and Elizabeth Yohe notched 17 digs in the win.
 
Since the 2012 season, Converse University is 0-13 against Emmanuel College. The last time Emmanuel traveled to Spartanburg the Lions edged out the Valkyries in five sets. Last season, the Valkyries lost in straight sets to Emmanuel.

• Converse is looking to end a seven-match losing streak in Conference Carolinas play.
