The Series:
This will be the 20
th all-time meeting between Converse University and North Greenville. The Crusaders hold a 16-3 advantage in the overall series, but the Valkyries won the matchup earlier in the season 3-1. The win snapped an 11-game losing streak to the Crusaders dating back to the 2014 season. Earlier this season, the Valkyries set a new school record for blocks in a game (16) as junior middle blocker
Jasmine Finkley set the school record for total blocks with eight in the match.
This will be the 17
th all-time meeting between Converse University and Lees-McRae. The Bobcats hold a 13-3 overall record in the series and defeated the Valkyries 3-1 earlier this season. In the first match of the season between the two schools every set was close until the final set when the Bobcats pulled away from the Valkyries.
