The Series
This is will be the tenth all-time meeting between Converse and Newberry College. The Wolves hold an 8-1 advantage in the series and have won the past seven games dating back to the 2017 season. The last two matches in the series have been the closest between the two squads. Earlier this season, the Wolves edged out the Valkyries in a 1-0 overtime win and last season the Wolves ended the Valkyries season with a 2-1 double-overtime victory in the playoffs.

This will be the ninth all-time meeting between Converse and Queens University (N.C.) on Sunday afternoon. The Valkyries snapped a five-game losing skid to the Royals earlier this season with a 3-1 road victory over Queens. A win on Sunday would give the Valkyries their first home win over the Royals since the 2017 season. Â Â

- The Valkyries are 6-5 overall this season and 5-3 in South Atlantic/Conference Carolinas play.
- Converse is coming off a 3-1 win over Frostburg State last Saturday afternoon. The win marked the Valkyries first win over the Bobcats in program history. Â
- Mira Polzer scored the opening goal of the day on a pass from Luisa Fasold. Polzer then assisted on the next two goals by Lotte Kanters and Elizabeth Wypych.Â
- The Valkyries were able to play all four goalies and all 26 field players in the match against Frostburg State.

- The Wolves have won four straight games dating back to a September 29th win over Queens.
- Saturday's game against Converse will mark the Wolves second straight road contest. Last weekend the Wolves defeated Coker 5-3.
