The Series:
This will be the 18th meeting between Converse and King on Tuesday evening at the Tom and Tracy Hannah Gymnasium. King holds a perfect 17-0 record against the Valkyries dating back to the 2010 season. Last spring, the Valkyries played the Tornado close at home but fell 3-1. Earlier this fall the Valkyries made the short trek up to King and fell in straight sets to the Tornado.   
 
Converse Notes:
  • Converse will be looking for their third straight home win on Tuesday night against King.
  • The Valkyries are a perfect 2-0 on the season when playing in the Tom and Tracy Hannah Gymnasium. Converse has defeated both North Greenville and Mount Olive by a final set score of 3-1.
  • Converse is coming off a pair of road losses to Francis Marion and Erskine this past weekend.
  • As a team the Valkyries are averaging 9.9 kills per set, 9.1 assists per set, 16.1 digs per set and 1.6 blocks per set.
  • Anna Rabon leads the team with 130 kills and five double-doubles on the season. The freshman is second on the team in service aces (20) and digs (150).
  • Kiara Cannon is second on the team with 128 kills and Jasmine Finkley is third on the team with 105 kills.
  • Finkley leads the team with 42.0 total blocks on the season, while Cannon is second on the team with 38.0 total blocks.
  • Madison Gregory leads the team with 230 assists, while Savannah Ducote is second on the team with 119 assists.
  • Elizabeth Yohe leads the team in both service aces (21) and Digs (297).
 
King Notes:
  • The Tornado are 11-7 overall and 6-2 in Conference Carolinas action.
  • King is coming off back-to-back wins over Chowan and Barton this past weekend.
  • For King this will be their first road game in 11 days, the Tornado last played on the road on October 1st against Lees-McRae.
  • As a team the Tornado are averaging 11.1 kills per set, 10.4 assists per set, 18.1 digs per set and 2.0 blocks per set.
  • Julie Ward leads the team with 179 kills, Hailee Blankenship is second with 152 kills and Brittney Ramsey is third on the team with 110 kills.
  • Katie Harless leads the team with 310 assists, while Georgia Davis is second on the team with 242 assists.
  • Hailee Blankenship leads the team with 33 service aces and Julie Ward is second on the team with 32 service aces.
  • Claire Wilson leads the team with 203 digs, while four other players have collected 150 or more digs this year.
  • Brittney Ramsey leads the team with 72.0 total blocks and Allie Zimmerman is second on the team with 49.0 total blocks.
