Box Score DUE WEST, S.C. - The Converse Basketball dropped a Conference Carolinas contest on the road Friday evening against Erskine 98-57.
Three Valkyries posted double-figures in the loss with Tatum Boggs leading the way with 14 points connecting on four threes. Hannah Anderson notched 11 points and a team-high five rebounds. Dominique Hill chipped in with 10 points and six assists.
Erskine shot 50.7% from the floor and created 34 turnovers in the contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
1st Quarter
Keocia Walker started the scoring for the Valkyries after stealing the pass and going coast-to-coast. Erskine jumped out to an early lead after a 21-2 run to lead 23-4. Tatum Boggs ended the run with a trey with 3:29 remaining in the first quarter.
Shaniqua Brown added two field goals and Hannah Anderson hit two freebies to end the scoring in the quarter for the Valkyries as Erskine led 29-13 after the first 10 minutes of action.
2nd Quarter
Both teams traded baskets throughout the quarter. Dominique Hill knocked down a jumper for the final basket of the half as the Valkyries went scoreless the final 3:57 of action.
Erskine finished the half on a 10-0 run to lead the Valkyries 50-25.
3rd Quarter
Converse struggled to kick start the offense in the quarter managing four points. Brianna James knocked down her only basket of the contest with a trey.
Erskine led 76-29 heading into the final quarter of play.
4th Quarter
Converse was able to find their groove to start the fourth going on a 7-0 run. Dominique Hill knocked down a three off the inbound from Paige Johnson. Keocia Walker followed up with a layup and two free throws during the run.
Hannah Anderson completed a three-point play before Tatum Boggs connected on a long distance three.
Boggs would swipe the ensuing possession and hit one of two from the line. Boggs hit two more treys in the quarter midway through the quarter.
Tiffani Riggen and Dominique Hill connected from behind the arc to end the scoring for Converse.

Converse's contest against Emmanuel originally scheduled for Saturday, January 7 has been moved to Monday, January 9 in Franklin Springs, Ga.
