HOW IT HAPPENED

• In the first set, the Valkyries fell into an early 13-3 deficit. The second half of the set Bob Jones used a 12-7 scoring run to take the set 25-10.
• Converse was unable to get the offense rolling tallying 12 total kills.
• Journee English and JaLesa Beaver recorded three kills each to lead the offense.
• Alexis Pitts recorded a team-high five digs.
