TIGERVILLE, S.C.- The Converse volleyball team was unable to get the offense rolling as the Valkyries were swept, 3-0, in Conference Carolinas action on the road against North Greenville on Tuesday evening.

Converse (1-5, 0-1) was led offensively by freshman Alexis Pitts.  Pitts tallied nine kills on the evening while teammate JaLesa Beaver posted five kills.

Leslie Gonzalez tallied a team leading nine digs on the evening with Vivica Nogueira recording seven.

The Valkyries tallied eight kills in the first set and limited North Greenville (7-2, 1-0) to seven but the Purple and Gold committed 10 errors in the set, as the Crusaders took the set 25-12.

Converse returns to the court on September 16 and 17 as the Valkyries travel to Lees-McRae and King in a Conference Carolinas weekend.
