Box Score SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Converse Volleyball team fell in straight sets, 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-14) against Limestone in a Conference Carolinas match on Friday evening in their #TeamMEGO Cancer Awareness Match.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Kayla Pettit led the Valkyries offensively with seven kills. Pettit also tallied nine digs. JaLesa Beaver chipped in with six kills.
Deanna Unger produced 19 assists and eight digs in the match with Vivica Nogueira leading the defense with 14 digs.
In the first set, Converse hung with Limestone as both teams battled back and forth. Limestone would go on a 6-0 run with the set tied 11-all to lead 17-all. That was all the Saints need to take the set 25-18.
Limestone jumped out to an early 15-5 lead and pushed it out to 20-10. Converse would go on a 9-3 run capitalizing on the Saints errors as well as back-to-back kills by JaLesa Beaver would cut the lead down to 23-19. The Saints would tally the final two points of the set to take a 2-0 lead.
Once again, the Saints used an early 16-6 led to take the third set 25-14.
