Box Score SPARTANBURG, S.C.- Converse Volleyball is stuck in a slump falling for the 19th time this season and 13th time in straight sets. Limestone cruised to a 3-0 victory, 25-16, 25-15, 25-17 improving to 12-15 on the season with a 10-3 record in Conference Carolinas play. Converse fell to 7-19 on the season and 1-12 in league play.
Converse attackers are hitting a dismal .119 on the season after hitting .042 against the Saints. Katie Butler (Savannah, Ga.) led the team with nine kills and five errors. Candace Clack (MacClenny, Fla.) tallied two kills, no errors in nine attempts. Scottie Kay Auton (Gaffney, S.C.) recorded five kills, four errors on 16 attempts.
Krislyn Moore (Spartanburg, S.C.) and Jordan Robertson (Greenville, S.C.) dished out nine assists apiece in the match out of the possible 22 assists.
Aubrey Crosby (Spartanburg, S.C.) racked up 19 digs in the match. Converse had 15 receiving errors and only six service aces. Robertson attributed to four of those aces. Butler had the remaining two.
Six Valkyrie errors in set two led to the Saints hitting .526 with 10 kills in 19 attempts and no errors winning the set 25-15.
Converse will continue it's homestand Nov. 5 against Southern Wesleyan. First serve is at 7pm.
