Greenwood, S.C.- Converse couldn't find its rhythm on Tuesday night as it was handed another loss on the season.  Converse fell in straight sets for the 10th time this season.  The Valkyries dropped to 7-15 on the season while Lander improved to 17-5 after the 13-25, 18-25, 18-25, three set affair.

Samantha Haynes (Chesnee, S.C.) led the Valkyrie attack with eight kills on the night.  Katie Butler (Savannah, Ga.) and Scottie Kay Auton (Gaffney, S.C.) finished the night with seven kills apiece.  Butler and Journee English (Columbia, S.C.) added seven digs respectively.

Krislyn Moore (Spartanburg, S.C.) finished the match with 22 assists and five digs.  The Valkyrie libero, Aubrey Crosby (Spartanburg, S.C.), led the defense with 22 digs.

Converse finishes the season at home with eight straight home matches.  The Valkyries welcome Erskine and Emmanuel in league play Oct 24 and 25.
