Mendy McNeese

Mendy was promoted to Assistant Women's Basketball coach on September 5, 2019.

The Greeneville, Tenn. native started her college campaign at East Tennessee State University where she spent two seasons. While with ETSU she played in 37 games, totaling 45 points, 24 rebounds, and 22 assists while shooting 74.2% from the free throw line. 

After transferring to Queens University of Charlotte, McNeese saw action in 43 games with 25 starts for the Royals. She averaged 9.6 points per game and totaled 127 rebounds, 51 steals, and 57 assists. McNeese is ranked 7th in Queens single season free throw percentage (84.8%) and 4th in career free throw percentage (82.3%). She earned her bachelors degree in sport management from Queens and was awarded the Blair College of Health and Sport Management Student of the Year award in 2018. 

During high school she averaged 14.3 points per game, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.0 assists at North Greene High. McNeese was named to the All-Greene County team on three occasions as well as a two-time winner of the Player of the Year award following her junior and senior seasons. She was named All-District twice and Watauga Valley Conference Player of the Year in 2014. Member of the Tennessee Class A All-State team in 2013 and 2014 and was a finalist for Tennessee Miss Basketball as a senior.
