Converse Track Produce Strong Results At JDL

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Converse Track team produced a school records and numerous personal best times during the UNCG Dual Meet Madness at JDL Fast Track on Sunday.

4x400m Relay

Derian Cunningham, Deja Attaway, Lauren Morris, and Jada Simmons posted the second best time in program history in the event with a ninth place finish and a time of 4:13.08.

Weight Throw

Shakura Wesley continued to break her school record in the event with a heave of 44'5.75 (13.55m).  Wesley broke the record by 3'3.5".

Jordan Cooksey also continued to improve on her own personal best with a throw of 39'7.5 (12.07m).  Cooksey bested her mark by almost two feet.

60 Meters

Daija McKenith posted a personal best time of 8.38, which is seventh best in program history.

200 Meters

Deja Attaway improved on her personal best in the event with a time of 27.84.  Attaway's time is seventh best in program history.

400 Meters

Lauren Morris posted the second best time in program history with a time of 1:01.29.  Morris improved her time by two seconds.

Derian Cunningham followed Morris with a personal best with the third best time in program history clocking a time of 1:02.92.

800 Meters

Jane Macsay shaved 11 seconds off her personal best time in the event with a time of 2:38.38 for the fourth best time in program history.

Jessica Morgan posted the fifth best time in program history with a time of 2:40.65.

Long Jump

Sequoya Davis leapt 15'9 (4.8m).  Daija McKenith posted the fifth best mark in program history with a personal best mark of 14'10 (4.52m).
