Valkyries Fall to Mount Olive in Conference Carolinas Playoffs April 22, 2014 The Valkyries Lacrosse team traveled to Mount Olive this afternoon for the first round of the Conference Carolina tournament. Converse was the sixth seed while the Trojans were ranked third going into playoffs. The Valkyries put up a fight but were unable to hold on to tournament hope, dropping to the Trojans 8-15.
Valkyries Travel to Mount Olive for First Round Play April 21, 2014 The Conference Carolinas women’s lacrosse teams finished up regular season play this past weekend to determine upcoming tournament match ups. The Limestone Saints finished 6-0 in league play to clench the Regular Season Championship title. The Valkyries finished 6th, securing a spot in the tournament.
Valkyries Fall to Saint Leo, 11-9 April 19, 2014 The Valkyries took the field today and battled the rain in the last home match of the season. The Valkyries took on the Lions of Saint Leo College from Saint Leo, Florida. The two teams went head to head for most of the game, until Saint Leo went on a two goal run with ten minutes left in the second half, ultimately defeating Converse 11-9. Saint Leo is now 8-7 overall, while Converse finishes their regular season play 7-9.

Valkyries Drop to Mount Olive, 16-6 March 29, 2014 The Valkyries took on the Trojans of the University of Mount Olive, leading in the beginning of the first half but couldn’t keep up with the fast pace, ultimately falling 16-6. The Valkyries are now 7-7 overall and 1-3 in league play, while Mount Olive is 8-2 overall and 3-1 in league play.
