Valkyries Conclude Day Two of Conference Championship

SNOW HILL, N.C. – The Converse College golf team fell one spot to sixth following day two of the 2018 Conference Carolinas Women's Golf Championship at Cutter Creek Golf Club. After a first round score of 320, the Valkyries posted a 336 (+48) to finish out the second 18.

Tyler Dawson continues to lead the way for Converse, currently sitting in a tie for 10th after shooting an 8-over par, 80. Vienna Winalski is in a tie for 22nd following her day two total of 84 (+12), while Grace Magera controls 28th place with her 88 (+16) on the second 18.

Megan Dresser and Marisa Daquil Kawabe both fired second round 86s to place 34th and 36th, respectively, heading into the third and final round of the tournament.

The Saints of Limestone College continue to lead the overall field, while Victoria Ross of Limestone stays atop the leaderboard following 36 holes. Day three will begin tomorrow morning.
