DAHLONEGA, GA. – The Converse College golf team finished the final round of the LeeAnn Noble Memorial on Tuesday afternoon in 10th place out of 16 teams. The Valkyries, who shot a day one total of 320, turned in a combined score of 321 for the final 18.
Tyler Dawson turned in an impressive 77 (+5) during the final round, jumping 13 spots to finish in a tie for 24th overall, while teammate Vienna Winalski fired an 8-over, 80 to place in a tie for 28th. Taylor Fisk (163, +19) and Grace Magera (165, +21) finished the two-day event in 54th and 59th places, respectively.
Lee University won the team overall award after posting a two-day total of 586 (+2) to take home top honors, while the Flames' Haverly Harrold took home the top individual honor, firing a two-round total of 143 (-1).
The Valkyries will be back in action on October 23-24 as they take part in the Terrier Intercollegiate hosted by Wofford College.
