Valkyries Golf Finishes Fourth At Golf Championships

SNOW HILL, N.C.- The Converse Golf team moved up to fourth in the second round of the rain-shortened Conference Carolinas Golf Championships at Cutter Creek Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon.

The Valkyries shot 314 in the second round, which is the second best round for Converse at the Conference Carolinas Golf Championships in program history.

INSIDE THE SCORECARDS

Conference Carolinas Player of the Year, Marley Felthousen, finished off her career with an all-tournament selection after a final round 75.  Felthousen finished tied for fifth.  The senior finished her round with three birdies and 10 pars.

Tyler Dawson turned in a solid 76 with 12 pars and a birdie.  Dawson finished tied for 19th.

Megan Dresser started off strong with six straight pars on her way to a 78.  Dresser finished with 12 pars.  She finished tied for 21.

Ansley Vaughan had some trouble on the front side before rebounding on the back with two birdies.
