BRISTOL, TENN.- The Converse golf team slid to a fifth place finish at the King University Invitational after a final round 328.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Marley Felthousen fired off a final round 74 to finish in an All-tournament selection. Felthousen finished fourth overall with a score of 150.
- Grace Magera finished tied for 21st with Ansley Vaughan after finishing with a round of 83. Vaughan finished with a round of 85.
- Tyler Dawson and Marisa Daquil Kawabe carded 86s to round out the scoring.
- Carson-Newman took home the team title with a tournament low 296.
The Valkyries have the week off from competition as the prepare for the Terrier Intecollegiate hosted by Wofford at the Country Club of Spartanburg on October 10-11.
