Valkyries To Compete For Event National Championship

ERIE, Pa. – The Converse College acro and tumbling team extended its stay at the 2018 NCATA National Championships by qualifying for the event finals in four different events overall. The Valkyries qualified after posting one of the top four scores in the five (9.6) and seven (9.525) element acro, open pyramid (9.725), and the 450 salto toss (9.5).

The following individuals will participate on Saturday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m. with a chance to win an event national championship:

5-Element Acro- Breana Clarke, Delaney Weaver, Emily Adams, and Jasmine Loy-Smith

7-Element Acro- Breana Clarke, Delaney Weaver, Tyaeme Haugabook-Lugo, Tradezha Apkins, and Hayden Hughes

Open Pyramid- Delaney Weaver, Taylor Rezendes, Emily Adams, Jessica Konik, Tradezha Apkins, and Breana Clarke

450-Salto Toss- Breana Clarke, Delaney Weaver, Amber Sinquefield, Ali Kleinbreil, Emily Adams, and Jasmine Loy-Smith.
