Title: Assistant XC/Track Coach

Cord Sgaglio enters the 2018-19 season as the assistant cross country/track and field coach after a successful stint as the teams' graduate assistant. Sgaglio aided in the coaching of Jane Macsay, who earned the Iron Valkyrie Award in 2017, as well as Jamie Connelley, who was named 2018 Rookie-of-the-Year.

Cord joins the staff after graduating from Limestone College in May of 2015. During his time with the Saints, Sgaglio competed in Cross Country and Track & Field. Sgaglio was named Third Team All-Conference Carolinas, Most Valuable Athlete in 2012 & 2014, and team captain. 

Cord achieved a NCAA Provisional Qualifying time in the indoor mile during the 2013 season.

Off the track and course, Sgaglio voulnteered at Fox Lane Middle School, Gaffney High School and was an Assistant Educator at the Boys & Girls Club of Gaffney.  Cord helped the Saint's staff during the 2012-13 season as a student assistant as well as a representative for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.  During 2015, Cord served as an Intern for the Limestone Compliance office.

Sgaglio received his Level 1 USATF Certification in December of 2015, USTFCCCA 251 technical certification (2017), and USATF Level 2 certification with a concentration in endurance (2017).  

The Pound Ridge, New York native graduated from Limestone College in 2015 with a Bachelors degree in Sport Management.
