Krishanda Campbell-Brown joins the Valkyries Cross Country and Track & Field Staff for the 2016-17 season.  

Campbell-Brown comes to Converse after a decorated collegiate career at Benedict College in nearby Columbia, South Carolina. Campbell-Brown coached at her alma mater for the 2015-16 season as an assistant.

As a coach at Benedict, Campbell-Brown coached two NCAA National Qualifiers, an All-American Triple jumper and a South Regional Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year.

While at competing for Benedict, Krishanda earned three consecutive USTFCCCA All-American honors in both the long and triple jump events for indoor and outdoor seasons. From 2013-15, Campbell-Brown was named USTFCCCA South Regional Indoor Field Athlete of the Year.  Campbell-Brown added the USTFCCCA South Regional Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year honor in 2015.

Before college, Campbell-Brown competed for her native country of Bahamas in 2005 and 2006 at the Central American and Caribbean Games.

A Nassau, Bahamas native, Campbell-Brown graduated from Benedict College with a Bachelors degree in Therapeutic Recreation.
