Jordan Kyles steps into the assistant coach and head reserve coach role for the 2018-19 season following a successful stint as basketball's graduate assistant last season.
Jordan comes to Converse after spending four years as a Head Coach at Northwestern High school and York Preparatory Academy in Rock Hill, SC. During the summers along with doing private training she has coached at several camps for the University of North Carolina, Breakthrough Basketball, Charlotte Hornets. In addition to coaching in the States, Jordan has had the opportunity to coach abroad. She has traveled to Southeast Asia twice to play and run skill clinics.
Kyles is a Sanford, FL native and a 2012 graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic with a B.A. in Cross-Cultural Studies. She had a successful playing career at PBA where she still holds the career three point shot record. She worked her way up to a starting role at shooting guard and finished strong her senior year with a Third Team All ICAA nomination, averaged 10.8 ppg, and 35.7 minutes per game. She was Outstanding Graduate for her Cross-Cultural Studies program, and won several leadership awards with the athletic department.
After graduating from PBA in 2012, Jordan married her husband Marques and worked for a short time with youth at a non profit ministry on the West side of Chicago before moving to South Carolina in 2013. She has one younger sister who is a volleyball player and a cheerleader at Asbury University in Kentucky. Kyles currently resides in Boiling Springs with her husband, and their two dogs, Hitch and Thea.
